Choose scrap fabrics from your stash that coordinate with your shirt. You'll need to prewash a new shirt before applying the appliques to avoid shrinkage. Just iron on your designs with Wonder Under and stitch around each shape with a zigzag stitch to prevent fraying. Christmas Applique Shirt Applique Pattern: Click Here for Pattern 1 Click Here for Pattern 2 Click Here to Print the Instructions Supplies: Denim shirt Scraps of fabric Thread to match Wonder Under Iron Wonder Under on the wrong side of the fabric. Follow the manufacture's directions for ironing on the Wonder Under. From the fabric with the Wonder Under applied, cut two pieces 17 1/2" long by 1 1/4" wide. One will be for the collar and the other one will be used on a long sleeve shirt on the cuffs. Trace pattern pieces on the Wonder Under and cut out all pieces. Remove Wonder Under paper backing from all pieces. Position each piece on shirt with right side of the fabric up. Iron pattern pieces on the shirt as directed for the Wonder Under. Sew pieces on with a medium tight zig zag stitch. This is another easy and fun shirt to make, so enjoy sewing!!!
